Artist book, handbound

Series of 2

These handbound books contain flat objects: leaves, knotted threads and grass, feathers, flowers, wall peelings, chocolate wrappers, bus or train tickets, fevicol peelings off the finger, photos of wall cracks, paper stitched using hair, and more. All these objects are carefully collected through time, referring to the simple and mundane habit of preserving things inside books only to discover later, to relive the memory attached with each object. An artist book becomes a time-based medium- with each flipping of a page time is unfolded and folded to encounter these temporal objects.
